Silicon Valley Power has partnered with CLEAResult to offer an EV Charging Technical Assistance program. If you own or manage an eligible multifamily housing complex or small to medium-sized business, you may qualify for a free EV Charging Planning Report along with technical assistance throughout the planning and installation process.

What's included in Technical Assistance?

Participating customers may receive:

Site visit. A field technician will conduct an evaluation of your facility and will provide you
with an EV charging evaluation.

Load analysis. The EV charging evaluation will include a load analysis that specifies the number of chargers that can be supported by your current electrical infrastructure.

Site layout. The EV charging evaluation will also include a proposed parking layout, which provides
a baseline for contractors to prepare price bids
and design.

Contractor bids. We will help create and publish bid documents as well as help you assess each bid to ensure you choose the right bid and contractor.

Permit support. After a bid has been selected, we will provide permit support to your contractor and act as a liaison with the building department for permit processing.

Installation process. Oversight and document management will be arranged to make sure your project is delivered in a timely manner.

Rebate assistance. Once your project has been successfully completed, we will help you to procure all applicable rebates.
